The Howard County Patch, Fox45 News and the Maryland Daily Record reported that Baxter Baker partner Cynthia “Cindy” Penny-Ardinger has been appointed as the newest member of the Maryland Transportation Authority Board by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan.
Cindy is an attorney and Certified Public Accountant who has over 25 years of experience in representing clients in business and estates and trust practice areas. She assists clients in estate tax planning, probate, trust administration and guardianship. Cindy also represents businesses, individuals and families in areas such as business planning, navigating the challenges associated with founding, owning and operating small-to-midsize businesses, tackling issues such as corporate structure, negotiating leases, business succession planning, commercial real estate, leases and acquisitions.
MDTA Chairman and Maryland Department of Transportation Secretary Pete K. Rahn cited Cindy’s law and business expertise as positive assets for the MDTA team.
“I look forward to the opportunity to join the Maryland Transportation Authority Board as we work with our community and other stakeholders to address the transportation needs of our fellow Marylanders,” Cindy said.
