David J. McManus obtained a defense verdict for a prominent vascular surgeon in a medical malpractice wrongful-death case. The case was tried in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County over the course of six days. We introduced evidence that the proposed procedure was indicated and necessary under prevailing standards of care. The jury deliberated for six hours before returning a defense verdict.
