Congratulations to Charles “Chad” Joseph and Fiona Puglese, who obtained a defense verdict for a board-certified internal medicine physician in a wrongful death case. The case was tried in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. Plaintiffs claimed that our client breached the standards of care because the patient passed away due to complications from Type 1 diabetes. The jury deliberated for approximately twenty minutes before returning a defense verdict.
