David J. McMANUS, Jr. is a founding partner of the firm. Mr. McManus handles a variety of health care law matters, including the defense of health care providers in medical malpractice litigation and general representation of hospitals and physicians on issues involving medical staff by-laws, credentialing, confidentiality of medical records, informed consent, guardianships, and termination of life-sustaining measures.

He has lectured to hospitals and physician groups on managed care, risk management, clinical care guidelines, and health-care decision making. Mr. McManus also concentrates on professional malpractice defense for insurance agents and real estate agents, and has lectured on risk management issues pertaining to insurance agents. He also practices general commercial litigation.

Mr. McManus graduated with honors from The University of Maryland Law School where he was Executive Editor of the Maryland Law Review and a member of the Moot Court, and magna cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany.
