Niccolo N. Donzella practices in the areas of employment law, government contracts, municipal defense, and general commercial litigation. He graduated from Harvard Law School, cum laude, where he served as research assistant to Professor Arthur R. Miller, focusing on updates and new editions of the Wright and Miller treatise on federal civil litigation. After graduation, he clerked for the Honorable Theodore J. Newman, Jr. of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He holds a master's degree in fine arts from Brown University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Bridgeport. He has been an adjunct professor of law at Howard University Law School, where he taught legal research and writing, and currently is an adjunct professor of law at the University of Maryland School of Law, where he teaches government contracts.

Mr. Donzella has represented a variety of private and public entities in labor and employment matters, including representation in administrative and judicial proceedings, decision counseling, and the establishment of employment policies and manuals. His reported decisions include: Wilkins v. Legal Services Corporation, 80 F.3d 535 (D.C. Cir. 1996); Carroll v. City of Westminster, 52 F.Supp.2d 546 (D.Md. 1999); Penhollow v. Cecil County, 695 A.2d 1268 (1997). He has also represented private entities in government contracting disputes, including bid protests, claims for adjustments, and judicial proceedings in the United States Court of Federal Claims.

Mr. Donzella is a member of the Bar Association of Baltimore City, the Maryland State Bar, and the American Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in all of the courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia, as well as in the Fourth, Seventh, and District of Columbia Circuit Courts and the United States Supreme Court.
